Privacy Statement:
We
need to retain records of personal data for a variety of reasons. For
example if you book a room with us then we need to have a note of
your name and/or other contact details so that we know who you are
when you arrive or are able to contact you with information about
your stay. We also retain information such as names and contact
details after your stay if we need to contact you for some reason,
for example if we discover you have left an item of luggage behind.
We are also required to keep records of business activity for tax
reporting reasons which could include personal information relating to
bookings and some of this information may therefore, in the course
of normal business practice, be passed on to trusted third parties
such as an accountant. We are also required to keep a register of
guests over the age of 16 who stay with us, this includes full names
and nationality, and/or passport numbers, place of issue, details of
next destination if they are non-British, Irish or Commonwealth
guests. This is in accordance with the (Immigration (Hotel records)
Order 1972). These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months and
in accordance with the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and the GDPR
(General Data Protection Regulation).
Our policy
with regards to any personal
data we receive as part of any booking or enquiry through this
website or third party website or any other channel, is that we will
endeavour to keep this information secure and confidential and will
only contact you for the purposes of anything we reasonably deem to
be pertinent to your past, present or future stays with us. We will
not pass on your information to anyone for marketing purposes.
In the case of third party booking providers etc, they will
have their own policies which will also apply.
